Jefferson's 4 x 800 relay team of Lacey Kersey, Lucy Reiber, Rachel Lee and Molly Roach placed fourth (4:07.30).
Kennedy was fifth in the 4 x 100 relay with a time of 50.34. Members of that relay were Kelly Jeans, Rajnee Michael, Kiehl and Yalartai.

Jefferson junior Matt Rosen won the 800 meter run. His winning time was 1 minute, 55.56 seconds. Kennedy's Johnathan Hess also qualified for state in that event with a clocking of 1:58.67.

Bloomington's middle distance runners enjoyed a successful Section 3AA track meet. Jefferson and Kennedy will be represented well at the state AA meet Friday and Saturday, June 7 8, at Hamline University.
Jefferson's Jesse Pai placed sixth in the pole vault clearing a height of 12 feet, 6 inches.
Kennedy senior Patience Yalartai is Bloomington's lone state girls track qualifier. She placed third in the triple jump at the Section 3AA meet with a qualifying distance of 36 8.
The Jaguars' 4 x 100 relay achieved a third place time of 50.04. Members of that relay were Kailynn Blanchard, Kersey, Reiber and Nicola Deak. Jefferson's time broke a school record that had existed for 14 seasons.

Eagle junior Dejhaya Walker Taylor placed seventh in the shot put with a toss of 34 4. Kelsey Kiehl finished eighth in the 100 (12.73).
Kennedy ninth grader Alvin Onkware placed eighth in the triple jump (40 4).
Kennedy's Brandon Bell qualified for state in the 100 with a fourth place qualifying time of 11.03. Bell just missed qualifying for state in the 200 with a third place time of 22.75.

Deak attained a fifth place time of 15.82 in the 100 hurdles. Roach finished fifth in the 400 (1:00.66).
Jefferson was fifth in the Section 3AA boys team standings with 65 points. Kennedy finished 11th out of 16 teams with 20 points. Eastview won the team title (94). Apple Valley placed second (93) and Rosemount came in third (80).
